Wheel speed sensors with OE quality

Broad market coverage, reliable electronic components

MS Motorservice International GmbH has added 35 wheel speed sensors to its product range. The new articles are suitable for a vehicle population of approximately 270 million vehicles around the world. Furthermore, the articles boast electronic components that are particularly resistant to interference.

The new wheel speed sensors are available from Motorservice in both active and passive versions. Passive sensors consist only of passive elements and do not have a permanent power supply. Active sensors contain integrated electronic components that are permanently supplied with power. The signal output is a square-wave signal. Furthermore, sensors are available with a cable or for directly plugging into the vehicle, for the left or right side of the vehicle, for mounting on the front or rear axle and with different types of signal output: Square-wave signal, PWM, AK protocol. The use of high-quality materials, sophisticated test concepts and a production process that adheres strictly to OE specifications ensures that the sensors have robust and signal-stable electronic components.

Function of wheel speed sensors
Wheel speed sensors are among the most important sensors in the vehicle. The signal from the wheel speed sensor is used as an input parameter for safety and comfort systems such as the anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic stability control (ESC), traction control (TCS) and the tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS). These sensors therefore make a direct contribution to driving safety, driving comfort and fuel consumption.
