The ongoing coronavirus pandemic has led to numerous restrictions in the private sphere as well as in the workplace. On the one hand, regardless of the respective incidence figures and case numbers, the continued development and targeted administration of vaccines offers a ray of hope in the midst of the pandemic. On the other hand, improved, more reliable rapid tests for private and business use have been developed as a means of checking the uncontrolled spread of the virus. Rheinmetall AG subsidiary MS Motorservice International GmbH is now offering these through its PPE business unit.
Highly reliable and easy to administer, these tests are specifically designed for professional use, e.g., for healthcare providers, company test centers, and retirement homes. Furthermore, work is underway to offer self-tests for use in schools and daycare facilities.
